Table manners are different, depending on who is at the table. For example, why would you use a fork when you have a perfectly sticky tongue to grab your food? Human children, though, are expected to use proper table manners with their human friends. RL Sosa and her fuzzy, scaly, and feathery pals want to teach you ten easy ways to show off your manners!
Kelly Haneklau gave me art lessons. Now we’ve created a book together. Kelly inspires and helps many artists in our community. Her art is dynamic and varied, from landscapes to social justice!
The idea for Table Manners came to me when I was a cafeteria hostess at Coles Elementary. But I couldn’t draw animals. Still can’t. So I am thrilled to have finally found a partner for this project.
Kelly has spent hours and hours of sketching, coloring and creating the adorable and truly unique art in this book. This story is as much hers as it is mine. We are proud to have created a book on manners that showcases our sense of humor.
The Paperback and the E-book are available now.
